Founded in 1985, Larident focuses on the production of plastic products for dentists, orthodontists and dental laboratories. Already in the beginning Larident acknowledged the importance to compete in the global marketplace and started its export operations. The quality of the products, their competitiveness on the market, flexibility and customer care, have made Larident one of the most important European manufacturers of private label products. Today the export market corresponds to over 50% of Larident’s turnover, comprising sales to more than 60 countries worldwide. In 2015 Larident left its historic headquarters in central Genoa moving to larger facilities in the province of Genoa, in order to improve logistics, handle increasing volumes and to get closer to its industrial division managed in cooperation with the company Seaplast. The industrial division consists of 9 injection molding machines and a unit for projection of new products and development of tools. In Italy Larident distributes the products of a few European companies, such as Hager & Werken, Polirapid, Varenkor, Nordiska Dental as well as a number of domestic manufacturers. The most successful articles are undoubtedly the denture boxes. In 2015, this range of products was produced and sold in more than 3.200.000 pieces
